Jonction Public facilities in geneva

Competition Entry, 2014

The project offers a set of functional, ecological public facilities that generate urban and community identity. A volume whose size fits into the urban context completes the block of the new Ecoquartier Jonction. The conformation of the whole makes it possible to maintain the square place proposed by the initial project. The building is designed as a compact volume from which pieces are extracted to create a passage, interior courtyards and green loggias. This ensures typological and spatial diversity and natural lighting of interior spaces. On the ground floor, the covered passage promotes conviviality and informal meetings.
